Since it’s beginning in October 2006, Safe Hands has rescued and re-homed over 1,000 dogs abandoned in high kill shelters in the rural south. We don’t have a physical shelter so we can’t do what we do without our many volunteers and foster homes.

Safe Hands can only rescue as many pups as we have foster homes. When you foster a dog you really are saving a life. We provide all vet care, food, medications, crate etc.. and all you need to provide is the love.

If you are interested in fostering a pet please fill out the foster application and we will be in contact with you.
